SCOPE Art Show—the premier showcase and incubator for contemporary art—announces exhibitors for its 23rd Miami edition, taking place December 3–8, 2024 during Miami Art Week. The first show under the leadership of director Hayley River Smith, this year’s edition will feature over 85 invited international galleries from 15 countries, reflecting the show’s renewed and more focused approach to curation in 2024 as it builds on its decades-long legacy as a hub for collaboration, inclusivity, and cultural engagement.
The most-visited fair during Miami Art Week, SCOPE Miami Beach welcomes over 100,000 visitors each year to its signature bespoke pavilion at Ocean Drive and 8th Street. Participating galleries will feature solo and group presentations that showcase the best of emerging contemporary art, including work by cutting-edge artists traversing the boundaries of technology, culture, and society. This year, the fair welcomes 42 new exhibitors, including galleries from Warsaw, Poland; Lagos, Nigeria; and Portland, Oregon. Exhibitors at the fair are placed in dialogue with The New Contemporary, SCOPE’s dedicated multidisciplinary platform for large-scale exhibitions, installations, and dynamic programming. “We are thrilled to welcome a curated roster of new and returning exhibitors from across the globe to SCOPE. We’ve taken a focused approach to the show as a whole this year, and there is a synergy across the presenting galleries that speaks to the forward-looking dynamism for which SCOPE is so well known. From the exhibitors’ presentations to the unparalleled range and caliber of programming, this year’s edition reflects the unique creative exchanges that SCOPE has created, exemplifying the theme of the show—Interdependence. We know that visitors and the wider community of artists, creatives, gallerists, curators, and more who come together each year will leave feeling inspired.”
